Snuggles with a chocolate lab "puppy |
Many of you have asked about Foster Boy. He's doing so well. Lost a few pounds and now able to walk 25 minutes at a time. He' able to do the stairs now his muscles have improved in his legs.
He enjoys laying his head on any pillow, foot or soft blanket around, and loves to recline on the patio furniture. A snuggle with a stuffed toy is one of this boy's favorite things. He's a total snuggle boy, very well behaved, and other than the 20 slice bread sandwich he made one night, he hasn't touched anything that doesn't belong to him.
He has a wee limp this morning as when Girl Child was walking him last night she was crossing the bridge on a busy street that crosses the river and two very large coyotes came from under the bridge and came face to face with them. BIG BOY had to run like the wind. The coyotes crossed the busy road and ran off, and I had to drive to pick them up as she was afraid to go back.
Owwwww what a great dog !!!....love the pictures !!...enjoy a happy weekend....xxx...
ReplyDeleteHe is so lovely and seems to be fitting rather well. I'm sure he'd love to stay :)
ReplyDeleteOh my . . . I like this boy! Those eyes . . . He knows he has a good thing going where he is right now. You are the best!
ReplyDeleteI didn't like the sounds of the coyote scare!
I hope you choose to adopt him.Your poor daughter. I would have been petrified as well. He reminds me so of our Lab Max,
ReplyDeleteHe looks so much better! I'd take him if we were closer!

He's adorable! Can't you keep him?
ReplyDeleteHow adorabl
ReplyDeleteAw Bless. I hope Foster Boy finds as good a home as he has now.
ReplyDelete"20 slice sandwich" ha ha! Got to watch those labs as they are very cunning when it comes to food. (Lunch? naw, that's okay I'll get my own...) Our Wiggley used to eat all the strawberries from the garden and any raspberries he could reach without getting scratched. I love labs! :>)
ReplyDeleteHome Boy great title it sure looks like Bubba has made himself at home,I can't bare, the thought that he does not know that this is not a permanent home, I so wish he could stay. I do thank you so much for being a foster care giver it takes someone special to be able to do that.
ReplyDeleteAll my dogs have been 2nd or 3rd hand dogs I feel I am giving them a good retirement and have loved them all but once they enter my home they end up staying I just can't do it any other way.
Thank you for all you do and please keep us up to date with stories of Bubba.
Cheers

He is just yummy, and he seems to fit right in (hint hint nudge nudge).
ReplyDeletehe is so precious......I too wish you could keep him..... Happy Weekend!
ReplyDeletecoyotes ? good god.
ReplyDeleteHe is such a beautiful dog .. so relaxed and at home now. I also, feel terrible at the thought of his being torn from where he is now secure and happy to another new place, new people, possibly not as kind or knowledgable in Pup ways .. keep him Raz... :)
(I am missing Pup so much today that even reading about your Big boy here makes me cry :)
So glad Foster Boy is doing better. Yikes about the coyotes in a busy area. They are getting crazy around here, eh? I won't walk Remington in Hungry Hollow because of so many reported encounters with coyotes.
ReplyDeleteOh so happy with Foster Boys progress. He is gorgeous. I am sure he is very thankful for your beautiful heart. Thanks for sharing. Cheers SpecialK XoXo
ReplyDeleteSo glad to hear the progress. He looks so content :)
ReplyDeleteHe's such a handsome boy. I hope he finds a home. Until then, I'm sure he's pretty content with you and your family.
