Grey Highlands

Headed to the County of Grey County today to spend time with the In-Laws. After supper we headed over to my SIL's Alpaca farm. Such sweet faces these guys have...almost deer like in their faces and with the giraffe like necks they are quite comical. It was magic hour for the camera, and we declared the color of the evening green....in all shades from lime and chartreuse to the deepest forest green. On the way home FIL announced he had purchased bacon and eggs for breakfast so I as the only woman present, could make everyone breakfast. Old School.

  7. As the only woman, were you able to feel faint and let someone else do the washing up?

I have never touched an alpaca and I think they must feel so amazing.. soft faery sorts of creatures :)
As you know, we are in early winter now so all that soft warm green is a memory .. I am hoping to get back to the States before winter.

  9. And I'll bet that was a delish breakfast! I am jealous of the Alpacas. When we were considering moving to NC, I was researching to perhaps start an Alpaca farm. They are such lovely gentle creatures. Beautiful pictures, Chania, no words were necessary, but I'm glad you added yours so we could put them all in perspective. Ann
