1950's Scarf

Girl Child has a collection of scarfs from the 1950's and 60's. My favorite is this classic Yosemite National Park Scarf. Doesn't it make you want to tie it into a headscarf Jackie O style, and drive up the California coast in a convertible, wearing your Ray Bans, with a bright picnic basket in the back seat?

  4. Yes, a great scarf. It took me years to realise that 'Yosemite' wasn't pronounced the same way as 'Sodemite'.

  6. I had always wanted to drive down Highway 1, and a few year ago I did, from it's origin in the Humboldt Forest all the way to San Francisco. Someday I hope to go back and finish the southern portion. When (if) I do, maybe I'll rent a convertible.....
