Wildlife Spotter

I had to share this photo that my sister took yesterday of a gorgeous owl. My sister is  not only a great photographer, she is the best spotter of wildlife and, unlike me, she usually has her camera with her when she does. Look at the way the feathers form a ring around his face. It almost looks braided. And that beak......the detail is quite lovely in this photo...I love the ruffle around his neck.

  1. What a face! I am a sucker for owls. And all birds I must say. Tell your sis, great job! I just want to snuggle him...LOL Kit

  2. Gorgeous photo! Tell your sister that I'm green with envy, and not just because it's St. Patty's Day. We have several owls that live nearby, and although I can hear them, I have yet to be able to see them, much less photograph them as beautifully as your sister has!

  3. I have a friend who lives over in Saugeen who has captured the White Snowy Owl, Eagles this Winter & a White Robin. Some people are blessed in these areas I am sure. Amazing photo, thanks for sharing your Sister's work, C.
