Friday Photo Challenge - OUTDOORS

This weeks challenge was to show an OUTDOOR photo.  Spring is an interesting time to shoot outdoors as it can look a little barren.  The horses here are waiting for the grass to green up, but are content with their roll of hay.

I like the trail in the not yet plowed field leading somewhere.....but where.............This is a typical Canadian farmhouse.

Next week I thought we would move the challenge indoors again and expose a bit of ourselves.  Photograph the top of your dresser.  We want to see the dust and coins and odd bits you keep there.

    Great pics! It reminds me of the road we used to live on near Kingston. We were on 2 acres surrounded by farms - it was heaven! :)

    Know I haven't answered your question of last week. It will sound unbelievable, will try and be short..

    While I do live in the city it is relatively safe (we only have had 2 burglaries)It is not different in the rural areas. There at places it is even worse than the worst you can imagine.

    Think of it, when you come into an area and see high walls, fences, electric fences, burglar bars, private security companies patrolling and even 24hour guards at peoples driveway all this together at one house, and not the exception. I know you will find it strange.
    The same way if I ever get to be in your neighbourhood I'll keep looking to see what is wrong, till I see these are not so present. I might even be caught for not stopping at the stop sign after dark. And that because I know I have to be safe, not to be reckless.

    Stunning as usual Chania. I LOVE that barn in the first picture. Wouldn't it be wonderful to have that in your backyard? I love to take pictures of old barns and farm implements. They have so much character.
