445 Square Feet

Today I am taking the day off to help Girl Child move some bits into her new apartment.  She's a girly girl, loving pink and pretty like I do.  I've been sorting through my bits to find things for her new place.  I sold the cups above unfortunately.  But I do still have the silverware below and I have been waiting for a happy home for it. Her whole place is only 445 sq ft.  Teeny Tiny.  I will take a few photos today to mark the progress.

  2. What a lovely presentation of that gorgeous silverware.
I decided, some years ago now, to mark the anniversary of each girls' confirmation with a place setting of silverware. Nice part was, by the time each of them turned 21, they had 8 sets each, without it being an onerous financial burden to me.
I'm really happy to say that each girl uses the silver every day...it's well loved.

  5. It's fun but a little surreal to help our children with their own homes...I'm sure she will love the silverware. It will be a special reminder of you everytime she uses them.

You're probably having a little more fun than I do with my son...he likes black, tigers and aquariums...I have nothing in my stash to give him! :) I just take him food!

    Have fun ~

  6. The cutlery is so pretty. I shoot lots of small spaces, so I'm looking forward to seeing your "girl child's" new place.
