Mauvais Chien

These are my Christmas gifts. Some good reads, a gorgeous book on Hacienda's (which have me obsessed at the moment), an old rosary, a wooden fish block print carving, candles, hand cream and some beautiful soaps. One called Sugar and the other Sugar Plum. Frenchie took a liking to the Sugar Plum and proceeded to remove it from the table and tear it open, taking a nice chunk off the corner and proceeding to lick, lick, swallow and lick some more in disgust at the taste. I had to give him a large slice of last nights Grey Poupon glazed ham to get the taste out of his mouth. He has no concept of the word NO in French, English or any other language.

  1. Beautiful images of your lovely gifts. Perhaps Frenchie is crazy like a fox and he knew just how to get a taste of your yummy ham! ;-)

Happy New Year Chania...I hope 2013 is wonderful for you and your entire family!

  5. Oh wow, maybe Frenchie was trying to recreate a scene from A Christmas Story! Poor thing but the soap must have smelled really good:) Have a wonderful New Year and I look forward to seeing more of your gorgeous Florida home!

  6. Frenchie and Howie are true kindred spirits _ Howie ate a toilet paper cardboard roll -a paper towel cardboard roll and a Christmas card yesterday..then threw up on my just professionally cleaned wool rug.
He doesn't understand "Damn it Howie! " either..
A very blessed New year to you and yours.. <3

Package is coming i swear. I have been working non-stop and the PO is closed when I'm off

  13. Happy New Year, Chania. What wonderful gifts and I especially like that little fish block. I will have to go backwards to read about your Christmas and week afterwards. I've been out of whack dealing with travels and my brother's visit (lol - he's a handful!). Best wishes for 2013. I really appreciate getting to know you over the last year or more. May things progress nicely in the upcoming year for us all. Ann
